Thonon

The Castle of Ripaille is visited. We travel down the streets of Thonon, almost all of which are dressed with beautiful flowers. We see Lake Geneva, where perch, l’ombie and trout are caught and are culinary specialities of the region. Prior to the invention of the telephone, contact between alpine villages was difficult. We see how the Savole, a novel method using musical instruments was devised.
