Sete/Montpellier

The region of Languedoc-Roussillon is one extensive garden which produces premium quality vegetables: garlic, asparagus, onions, tomatoes and cereals which support excellent poultry, particularly geese and ducks. It also produces some of the finest French lamb causses. We present several regional specialities with lamb and primary produce. We visit the town of Sete, because of its many canals and bridges, it is referred to as the Venice of the Languedoc. Then a stop at the famous university town of Montpellier and a famous game stew. Jousting on the water; today’s variation of a medieval sport is a novelty feature. Also a delicious recipe from a fruit which is not only used in cooking, but also in perfumery and medicine.
