Calvi/Corsica

The town of Calvi was originally established as a Roman settlement. Experience the brilliant sunshine, tree lined beachfront, unspoiled beaches and bays and hundreds of footpaths through the hills of Balagne. We visit the island of Corsica with its beautiful rocky coast known as “mountain of the sea”. Here we see why French sculptor Cesar Baldaochini remarked “here, everything is fascinating” and the Greeks referred to the island as “the far one”.
